Blueberries
Crunchy and popular!
Blueberries have been growing in popularity for years and this is plain to see on the fruit shelf. As a result of various health claims, consumer popularity has increased significantly. They taste fresh and sweet and have a crunchy bite. The colour is dark blue to purple-black, with a matte skin and transparent flesh.

Growing and harvesting
Handpicked
We source our blueberries from different parts of the world. They grow the fastest in Peru, where they can be harvested within a year of planting. In other parts of the world, this takes two to three years.
The berry bush is part of the heather family and can reach a height of about two metres. Blueberries grow in clusters. Harvesting is done carefully by hand. The berries are sorted for quality and size. After packing and cooling, the pallets are sent straight to Berries Pride.

Packaging options
Also tailor-made
EAT ME is our well-known premium brand, with an extensive range of packaging options. The packaging varies from plastic or cardboard trays of 125 grams (per package of 12 x 125 grams) to plastic buckets of 500 grams.
We set various preconditions for each type of packaging. We want to maintain product quality, attractiveness and sustainability as much as possible. We also like to develop tailor-made packaging together with our customers. Learn more? Michael Aagaard will be happy to discuss the possibilities.
To continue to respond to the changing market, we will soon be launching a sustainable packaging line for all our berries. Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date.
